JETAANSW and CLAIR Sydney held a career workshop and a networking dinner event for new JET returnees on the 10 November.
During the workshop at Boston University Study Abroad Centre, a lecturer gave an informative presentation on job hunting, how to write a cover letter and a resume, and job interviews. Moreover, JETAA committee members talked about their job hunting experiences.
Following the workshop, we held a networking dinner event, which was a good opportunity for JETAA members to build connections with other JETAA members, members of Australia-Japan Society and recruiters.
It was the first time for JETAANSW and CLAIR Sydney to hold such an event. We look forward to continuing to support JETAA returnees as they look for suitable and fulfilling employment.
