On 29 November, a delegation from Kobe City visited our office and we exchanged ideas and information about local disaster management in both Australia and Japan. The delegation is currently conducting research on local disaster management in several countries for Kobe Institute of Urban Research to help motivate younger generations to participate in local disaster management.
After visiting the CLAIR Sydney office, the delegation visited organisations such as the NSW State Emergency Service, the Rural Fire Service Queensland, and also the University of Queensland.
