During the LGMA
(Local Government Managers Association) International
Leading Practices Symposium held on the Gold Coast,
Professor Yasuyuki Kitawaki from Tokyo University of
Foreign Studies gave a keynote speech on the amalgamations
of municipalities and the decentralisation of government
in Japan.
The Nagano- Niigata Snow Resort Alliance
executive committee held a trade booth at the Snow Travel
Expo in Sydney on the 25th of May. During their time
in Sydney they visited the CLAIR Sydney office where
they were briefed on Australia.
