On 27 November, the Consulate-General of Japan in Auckland hosted a welcome reception for recent JET returnees.
Six returnees joined the reception, and eight members of the JETAA-Auckland members and three interviewers of JET Programme participants and others praised the returnees’ successes in the JET Programme and welcomed them warmly.
We hope that all returnees will play an active role in various fields by utilising their JET Programme experience in Japan, and that they will be ambassadors in further strengthening the relationship between New Zealand and Japan.
