{"id":4136,"date":"2014-03-13T14:58:02","date_gmt":"2014-03-13T03:58:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.jlgc.org.au\/?p=4136"},"modified":"2021-08-18T15:50:12","modified_gmt":"2021-08-18T05:50:12","slug":"examples-of-advanced-policies-of-japanese-local-governments","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.jlgc.org.au\/ja\/examples-of-advanced-policies-of-japanese-local-governments\/","title":{"rendered":"\uff3bMarch 2014\uff3d<br>Examples of advanced policies of Japanese local governments"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>To learn from each other about advanced policies of local governments is very important not only domestically but also internationally.<\/p>\n<p>One of the missions of CLAIR is to conduct international research about local governments\u2019 challenges of other countries and introduce them to Japanese local governments.<\/p>\n<p>CLAIR also started introducing the unique policies of Japanese local governments in English. I would like to show you the case of Kanagawa prefecture.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2011, Kanagawa Prefecture has promoted the \u201cKanagawa Smart Energy Concept\u201d that promotes \u201cenergy creation,\u201d \u201cenergy saving\u201d and \u201cenergy storage\u201d in a comprehensive manner toward establishing a distributed energy system led by local communities. As part of the efforts for widespread introduction of solar power systems, a key measure for \u201cenergy creation,\u201d the Prefecture has been committed to operation of a \u201cKanagawa Solar Bank System\u201d since December 2011.
