CLAIR Sydney staff members attended the 2016 National General Assembly of Australian Local Government Association in Canberra from 19 to 22 of June. The theme for this year’s NGA was “Partners in an Innovative and Prosperous Australia”. The theme highlighted the importance of the partnership between local government and the Australian Government in achieving innovation and productivity.
In the Local Government Expo which was held on the first floor of the venue, we introduced CLAIR’s activities, Japanese culture and sightseeing destinations. Moreover, we exchanged ideas and information with a lot of Mayors and Councillors. This conference was a great opportunity for us to learn many new things.
