A delegation from the Executive Committee for Fukuoka Prefectural Women visited Australia for a study tour in November.
They visited organisations and facilities related to gender equality and support for families raising children, engaging in fruitful discussions.
During their stay in Sydney, they visited our office where director Mr Tanabe gave a talk about the past and current state of gender equality in Australia.
Members of the delegation were women from Fukuoka working in a wide spectrum of professions. They were very thankful for the hospitality received during this visit, which allowed them to gain knowledge on support systems for women in Australia.
